Towson Defeats UNC Wilmington 77-66 - Recap
Towson earned a 77-66 victory over UNC Wilmington on Thursday, getting 14 points from Brian Fobbs at SECU Arena.
Towson was the ATS victor, as they covered the -10.0-point spread as a favorite.
Towson got 13 points from Nakye Sanders and another 10 points from Juwan Gray. Jason Gibson contributed 6 assists, while Nakye Sanders cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
UNC Wilmington got 16 points from Jaylen Sims in a losing cause and another 12 points from Marten Linssen. Ty Gadsden contributed 5 assists for them, while Marten Linssen had 7 rebounds.
Towson was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Towson won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-25.
