Hampton vs Presbyterian Final: 87-81 - Recap
Hampton got a 31-point performance from Jermaine Marrow as Hampton handed Presbyterian a 87-81 defeat on Saturday at Hampton Convocation Center.
Ben Stanley had 25 points for Hampton and Davion Warren chipped in with 16 points. Jermaine Marrow had 8 assists for them, while Davion Warren was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Presbyterian got 24 points from Chris Martin in a losing cause and another 14 points from Cory Hightower. Chris Martin contributed 4 assists for them, while Michael Isler had 8 rebounds.
Hampton was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Hampton had a 41-32 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Hampton takes its act on the road to face High Point looking for another win. For Presbyterian, they head home to face Gardner-Webb.
