Kansas State Falls 73-67 to Baylor - Recap

Baylor grabbed a 73-67 win over Kansas State on Monday, behind a 20-point effort from Jared Butler at Fred Bramlage Coliseum.

Baylor won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -6.5-point spread.

MaCio Teague had 15 points for Baylor and Davion Mitchell chipped in with 13 points. Davion Mitchell had 7 assists for them, while Devonte Bandoo was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

Kansas State got 23 points from Xavier Sneed in a losing cause and another 11 points from Cartier Diarra. Xavier Sneed contributed 3 assists for them, while Xavier Sneed had 8 rebounds.

Baylor was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Kansas State had a 29-27 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Baylor heads into a battle against Oklahoma State. Kansas State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Iowa State.
