American got 15 points from Stacy Beckton Jr. and another 13 points from Sa'eed Nelson. Sa'eed Nelson contributed 8 assists, while Mark Gasperini cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Navy got 13 points from Cam Davis in a losing cause and another 12 points from Evan Wieck. Greg Summers contributed 4 assists for them, while Greg Summers had 6 rebounds.
American led at halftime, 31-30.
Navy won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 28-23.
American looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Army. Navy will aim to get back on the winning track at Colgate.
