Mercer Bears vs Furman Paladins Recap - Furman Wins 79-57

The battle between Furman and Mercer didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Mercer was handed a 79-57 defeat on Wednesday at Timmons Arena.

Furman was a -12.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

Noah Gurley had 15 points for Furman and Jalen Slawson chipped in with 13 points. Alex Hunter had 5 assists for them, while Clay Mounce was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 6 boards.

Mercer got 15 points from Kamar Robertson in a losing cause and another 10 points from Maciej Bender. Ethan Stair contributed 5 assists for them, while Ethan Stair had 9 rebounds.
