Campbell Falls 62-53 Against Winthrop - Game Recap
Winthrop grabbed a 62-53 win over Campbell on Thursday, behind a 12-point effort from Chase Claxton at Winthrop Coliseum.
D.J. Burns had 11 points for Winthrop and Josh Ferguson chipped in with 10 points. Chandler Vaudrin had 7 assists for them, while Chandler Vaudrin was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
Campbell got 11 points from Cory Gensler in a losing cause and another 10 points from Cedric Henderson Jr.. Ja'Cor Nelson contributed 2 assists for them, while Trey Spencer had 7 rebounds.
