Tulane got a 17-point performance from Teshaun Hightower, who was supported by 13 points from K.J. Lawson. Christion Thompson had 3 assists in a losing cause for Tulane, while Teshaun Hightower grabbed 5 rebounds.
Houston was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Houston won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-23.
