IUPUI Falls 84-70 Against Northern Kentucky - Game Recap
Northern Kentucky got 31 points from Jalen Tate en route to a 84-70 victory over IUPUI on Friday at BB&T Arena.
Northern Kentucky won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -15.5-point spread.
Trevon Faulkner had 14 points for Northern Kentucky and Tyler Sharpe chipped in with 13 points. Jalen Tate had 7 assists for them, while Silas Adheke was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
IUPUI got 30 points from Marcus Burk in a losing cause and another 10 points from Grant Weatherford. Jaylen Minnett contributed 6 assists for them, while Elyjah Goss had 11 rebounds.
Northern Kentucky was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Northern Kentucky won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-28.
Northern Kentucky looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the UIC. IUPUI will aim to get back on the winning track at Wright State.
