Montana Defeats Idaho State 78-63 - Recap
Montana got 24 points and 11 rebounds from Sayeed Pridgett en route to a 78-63 victory over Idaho State on Saturday at Dahlberg Arena.
Montana won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -12.5-point spread as favorites.
Montana got 16 points from Kendal Manuel and another 12 points from Jared Samuelson. Sayeed Pridgett contributed 9 assists, while Sayeed Pridgett cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Idaho State got a 12-point performance from Jared Stutzman, who was supported by 12 points from Austin Smellie. Malik Porter had 2 assists in a losing cause for Idaho State, while Chier Maker grabbed 10 rebounds.
Montana was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Idaho State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-28.
Next game, Montana takes its act on the road to face Montana State looking for another win. For Idaho State, they head home to face Northern Colorado.
