Albany got 11 points from Trey Hutcheson and another 8 points from Cameron Healy. Ahmad Clark contributed 7 assists, while Romani Hansen cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Maine got a 18-point performance from Sergio El Darwich, who was supported by 10 points from Nedeljko Prijovic. Sergio El Darwich had 7 assists in a losing cause for Maine, while Stephane Ingo grabbed 7 rebounds.
Albany led at halftime, 36-35.
Albany had a 33-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
