UNC Asheville Falls 79-64 Against Radford - Game Recap
Travis Fields, Jr. scored 22 points leading Radford to a 79-64 victory over UNC Asheville at Dedmon Center on Thursday.
Radford got 18 points from Carlik Jones and another 9 points from Devonnte Holland. Carlik Jones contributed 8 assists, while Devonnte Holland cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
UNC Asheville got 15 points from Lavar Batts Jr. in a losing cause and another 12 points from Coty Jude. Lavar Batts Jr. contributed 4 assists for them, while LJ Thorpe had 6 rebounds.
Radford was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Radford won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-22.
Next game, Radford takes its act home to face USC Upstate looking for another win. For UNC Asheville, they head home to face Presbyterian.
