Recap - Tulsa Defeats Tulane 62-57
Martins Igbanu scored 17 points leading Tulsa to a 62-57 victory over Tulane at Donald Reynolds Center on Tuesday.
Tulsa won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -10.0-point spread.
Tulsa got 14 points from Jeriah Horne and another 12 points from Lawson Korita. Brandon Rachal contributed 4 assists, while Martins Igbanu cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Tulane got 19 points from Teshaun Hightower in a losing cause and another 10 points from Jordan Walker. Teshaun Hightower contributed 3 assists for them, while Christion Thompson had 6 rebounds.
Tulsa was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Tulsa won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-28.
Next game, Tulsa takes its act home to face Central Florida looking for another win. For Tulane, they head home to face Memphis.
