Prairie View A&M Defeats Mississippi Valley State 77-31 - Recap

The battle between Prairie View A&M and Mississippi Valley State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Mississippi Valley State was handed a 77-31 defeat on Saturday at Harrison Complex.

Jeremiah Gambrell Jr. had 19 points for Prairie View A&M and Cam Mack chipped in with 12 points. Cam Mack had 9 assists for them, while Boe Nguidjol was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

Mississippi Valley State got 15 points from Terry Collins in a losing cause and another 10 points from Caleb Hunter. Terry Collins contributed 2 assists for them, while Leandre Howard had 4 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Prairie View A&M were victorious, as the score was 38-27 at the break.

Prairie View A&M had a 28-17 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Prairie View A&M takes its act on the road to face Arkansas-Pine Bluff looking for another win. For Mississippi Valley State, they head home to face Texas Southern.
