Towson Falls 74-69 Against Hofstra - Game Recap

Towson was burned for 26 points by Tareq Coburn on Sunday as Hofstra picked up a 74-69 win at Mack Sports Complex.

Hofstra won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -5.5-point spread.

Hofstra got 16 points from Jalen Ray and another 11 points from Kvonn Cramer. Jalen Ray contributed 7 assists, while Isaac Kante cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.

Towson got a 17-point performance from Zane Martin, who was supported by 15 points from Nicolas Timberlake. Zane Martin had 7 assists in a losing cause for Towson, while Victor Uyaelunmo grabbed 7 rebounds.

Hofstra was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Towson won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-25.

Hofstra heads into a battle against UNC Wilmington. Towson, meanwhile, will have their next action against James Madison.
