Northern Colorado Falls 73-65 to Portland State - Recap
Portland State grabbed a 73-65 win over Northern Colorado on Saturday, behind a 19-point effort from James Scott at Bank of Colorado Arena.
Portland State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.0-point spread as underdogs.
Portland State got 14 points from Khalid Thomas and another 7 points from John Hall. James Scott contributed 6 assists, while Paris Dawson cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Northern Colorado got 23 points from Daylen Kountz in a losing cause and another 14 points from Matt Johnson II. Matt Johnson II contributed 5 assists for them, while Kur Jockuch had 13 rebounds.
Northern Colorado won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-27.
Next game, Portland State takes its act home to face Southern Utah looking for another win. For Northern Colorado, they head on the road to face Weber State.
