Recap - Weber State Defeats Sacramento State 72-70
Weber State earned a 72-70 victory over Sacramento State on Saturday, getting 20 points from Zahir Porter at The Hornets Nest.
Weber State did not, however, defeat Sacramento State against the spread, which closed at -6.5 at most sportsbooks.
Weber State got 18 points from Isiah Brown and another 12 points from Dillon Jones. Michal Kozak contributed 4 assists, while Dillon Jones cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Sacramento State got 26 points from Ethan Esposito in a losing cause and another 10 points from Bryce Fowler. Bryce Fowler contributed 5 assists for them, while Ethan Esposito had 13 rebounds.
Sacramento State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-29.
Next game, Weber State takes its act home to face Northern Colorado looking for another win. For Sacramento State, they head on the road to face Montana State.
