UMBC got 10 points from Dimitrije Spasojevic and another 10 points from Keondre Kennedy. R.J. Eytle-Rock contributed 3 assists, while Daniel Akin cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Hartford got 13 points from Austin Williams in a losing cause and another 7 points from Miroslav Stafl. Traci Carter contributed 3 assists for them, while Austin Williams had 9 rebounds.
UMBC had a 38-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
UMBC looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the UMass-Lowell. Hartford will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Vermont.
