Furman Falls 83-80 Against Alabama - Game Recap
Alabama got 18 points from Herbert Jones en route to a 83-80 victory over Furman on Tuesday at Coleman Coliseum.
Alabama did not, however, defeat Furman against the spread, which closed at -6.0 at most sportsbooks.
Alabama got 13 points from Jaden Shackelford and another 11 points from James Rojas. John Petty Jr. contributed 5 assists, while Herbert Jones cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Furman got 23 points from Mike Bothwell in a losing cause and another 21 points from Clay Mounce. Jalen Slawson contributed 5 assists for them, while Mike Bothwell had 6 rebounds.
Alabama was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Alabama had a 40-26 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
