The Citadel Downs Piedmont College 89-64 - Match Report
The Citadel cruised to victory on Wednesday, running Piedmont College out of the gym and running up a 89-64 score at McAlister Field House.
The Citadel got 27 points from Kaiden Rice and another 22 points from Hayden Brown. Tyler Moffe contributed 5 assists, while Hayden Brown cleaned the glass with 16 rebounds.
Piedmont College got 14 points from Jake Smith in a losing cause and another 14 points from Ryan Jolly. Jordan Foote contributed 2 assists for them, while Justin Quick had 8 rebounds.
The Citadel was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
The Citadel won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-27.
The Citadel looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Longwood. Piedmont College will aim to get back on the winning track at Western Carolina.
