Fairfield Falls 70-42 to Iona - Recap
Fairfield was run off the court by Iona on Friday as they blasted them 70-42 at Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard.
Iona won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -4.5-point spread as favorites.
Isaiah Ross had 30 points for Iona and Dylan van Eyck chipped in with 14 points. Asante Gist had 5 assists for them, while Dylan van Eyck was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Fairfield got 16 points from Taj Benning in a losing cause and another 10 points from Caleb Green. Caleb Green contributed 3 assists for them, while Tshiefu Ngalakulondi had 7 rebounds.
Iona was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
