Montana got 12 points from Robby Beasley III and another 12 points from Brandon Whitney. Josh Vazquez contributed 5 assists, while Michael Steadman cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Whitworth got 13 points from Miguel Lopez in a losing cause and another 13 points from Liam Fitzgerald. Rowan Anderson contributed 8 assists for them, while JT McDermott had 6 rebounds.
Montana was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Montana won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-23.
