March Madness - Arkansas Downs Oral Roberts 72-70 - Match Report
Arkansas grabbed a 72-70 win over Oral Roberts on Saturday, behind a 22-point effort from Jalen Tate at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Arkansas did not, however, defeat Oral Roberts against the spread, which closed at -11.5 at most sportsbooks.
Davonte Davis had 16 points for Arkansas and Moses Moody chipped in with 14 points. Jalen Tate had 6 assists for them, while Justin Smith was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 14 boards.
Oral Roberts got 25 points from Max Abmas in a losing cause and another 13 points from Carlos Jurgens. Kareem Thompson contributed 5 assists for them, while Kevin Obanor had 11 rebounds.
Arkansas was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Arkansas won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-32.
