March Madness - Gonzaga Downs UCLA 93-90 - Match Report
UCLA was burned for 25 points by Drew Timme on Saturday as Gonzaga picked up a 93-90 win at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Gonzaga did not, however, defeat UCLA against the spread, which closed at -14.5 at most sportsbooks.
Gonzaga got 22 points from Joel Ayayi and another 16 points from Jalen Suggs. Andrew Nembhard contributed 8 assists, while Joel Ayayi cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
UCLA got a 29-point performance from Johnny Juzang, who was supported by 19 points from Jaime Jaquez Jr.. Tyger Campbell had 7 assists in a losing cause for UCLA, while Cody Riley grabbed 10 rebounds.
Gonzaga was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UCLA won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-23.
