Kentucky Defeats Albany 86-61 - Recap
Albany was run off the court by Kentucky on Monday as they blasted them 86-61 at Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center.
Kentucky got 20 points from TyTy Washington Jr. and another 17 points from Keion Brooks Jr.. Sahvir Wheeler contributed 7 assists, while Oscar Tshiebwe cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Albany got a 18-point performance from De'Vondre Perry, who was supported by 12 points from Trey Hutcheson. Jamel Horton had 8 assists in a losing cause for Albany, while De'Vondre Perry grabbed 5 rebounds.
Kentucky was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Kentucky had a 42-21 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Kentucky takes its act home to face North Florida looking for another win. For Albany, they head home to face Eastern Illinois.
