Merrimack Falls 81-49 to Indiana - Recap
The battle between Indiana and Merrimack didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Merrimack was handed a 81-49 defeat on Sunday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
Indiana got 16 points from Trayce Jackson-Davis and another 14 points from Race Thompson. Xavier Johnson contributed 4 assists, while Jordan Geronimo cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
Merrimack got 13 points from Jordan Minor in a losing cause and another 11 points from Ziggy Reid. Malik Edmead contributed 4 assists for them, while Jordan Minor had 4 rebounds.
Indiana was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Indiana had a 49-12 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Indiana looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Notre Dame. Merrimack will aim to get back on the winning track at Maine.
