Recap - Ball State Defeats Eastern Michigan 78-72

Luke Bumbalough scored 20 points leading Ball State to a 78-72 victory over Eastern Michigan at Convocation Center on Saturday.

Ball State was an underdog by +1.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.

Ball State got 17 points from Tyler Cochran and another 10 points from Miryne Thomas. Demarius Jacobs contributed 4 assists, while Luke Bumbalough cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.

Eastern Michigan got 16 points from Colin Golson Jr. in a losing cause and another 13 points from Noah Farrakhan. Darion Spottsville contributed 3 assists for them, while Nathan Scott had 9 rebounds.

Ball State led at halftime, 39-35.

Ball State had a 31-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Ball State takes its act on the road to face Akron looking for another win. For Eastern Michigan, they head home to face Central Michigan.
