UNC Greensboro Falls 74-69 Against The Citadel - Game Recap
The Citadel got a 24-point performance from Hayden Brown, who added 15 rebounds as The Citadel ran past UNC Greensboro 74-69 on Thursday at McAlister Field House.
The Citadel won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.5-point spread as underdogs.
Tyler Moffe had 18 points for The Citadel and Jason Roche chipped in with 12 points. Brent Davis had 3 assists for them, while Hayden Brown was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 15 boards.
UNC Greensboro got 14 points from De'Monte Buckingham in a losing cause and another 13 points from Keyshaun Langley. Kobe Langley contributed 7 assists for them, while Bas Leyte had 8 rebounds.
The Citadel was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
The Citadel won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-32.
