UIC got a 25-point performance from Damaria Franklin, who was supported by 22 points from Kevin Johnson. Damaria Franklin had 6 assists in a losing cause for UIC, while Michael Diggins grabbed 7 rebounds.

Oakland was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Oakland won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-26.
