Recap - Liberty Defeats Eastern Kentucky 91-84
Liberty got 21 points from Darius McGhee as they ran past Eastern Kentucky 91-84 on Saturday at McBrayer Arena.
Liberty got 19 points from Keegan McDowell and another 15 points from Shiloh Robinson. Kyle Rode contributed 7 assists, while Kyle Rode cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Eastern Kentucky got 24 points from Jomaru Brown in a losing cause and another 21 points from Curt Lewis. Russhard Cruickshank contributed 7 assists for them, while Michael Moreno had 10 rebounds.
Liberty led at halftime, 49-31.
Liberty won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-28.
Liberty looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Lipscomb. Eastern Kentucky will aim to get back on the winning track at Jacksonville.
