Lipscomb Falls 78-69 to Liberty - Recap
Liberty got 29 points and 10 assists from Darius McGhee en route to a 78-69 victory over Lipscomb on Tuesday at Liberty Arena.
Kyle Rode had 24 points for Liberty and Shiloh Robinson chipped in with 13 points. Darius McGhee had 10 assists for them, while Darius McGhee was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
Lipscomb got 16 points from Ahsan Asadullah in a losing cause and another 11 points from Tommy Murr. Ahsan Asadullah contributed 6 assists for them, while Ahsan Asadullah had 11 rebounds.
Liberty was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Liberty won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-28.
Liberty heads into a battle against Jacksonville. Lipscomb, meanwhile, will have their next action against Eastern Kentucky.
