Boston College Eagles vs Syracuse Orange Wrap - Syracuse Wins 76-56
The battle between Syracuse and Boston College didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Boston College was handed a 76-56 defeat on Saturday at Carrier Dome.
Syracuse won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -8.5-point spread as favorites.
Syracuse got 18 points from Buddy Boeheim and another 18 points from Cole Swider. Symir Torrence contributed 5 assists, while Jimmy Boeheim cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Boston College got a 11-point performance from James Karnik, who was supported by 10 points from Quinten Post. Makai Ashton-Langford had 4 assists in a losing cause for Boston College, while James Karnik grabbed 11 rebounds.
Syracuse was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Boston College had a 36-35 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Syracuse takes its act home to face Georgia Tech looking for another win. For Boston College, they head home to face Florida State.
