Recap - Gonzaga Defeats Tarleton State 64-55

Rasir Bolton scored 17 points leading Gonzaga to a 64-55 victory over Tarleton State at McCarthey Athletic Center on Monday.

Gonzaga won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -32.0-point spread.

Gonzaga got 15 points from Chet Holmgren and another 10 points from Drew Timme. Anton Watson contributed 2 assists, while Julian Strawther cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

Tarleton State got 25 points from Tahj Small in a losing cause and another 11 points from Javontae Hopkins. Montre Gipson contributed 5 assists for them, while Tahj Small had 7 rebounds.

Gonzaga was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Gonzaga won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-27.

Gonzaga looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Alabama. Tarleton State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Charleston Southern.
