Houston Defeats Cincinnati 80-58 - Recap
Cincinnati was run off the court by Houston on Sunday as they blasted them 80-58 at Fifth Third Arena.
Houston won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -6.5-point spread as favorites.
Houston got 22 points from Fabian White Jr. and another 17 points from Jamal Shead. Jamal Shead contributed 6 assists, while Fabian White Jr. cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Cincinnati got 25 points from David DeJulius in a losing cause and another 9 points from Jeremiah Davenport. Mike Saunders Jr. contributed 4 assists for them, while Ody Oguama had 5 rebounds.
Houston led at halftime, 42-32.
Houston won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-24.
Houston looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the SMU. Cincinnati will aim to get back on the winning track at South Florida.
