Gardner-Webb blew out Converse on Friday, running up the score in a 79-46 win at Paul Porter Arena.
D'Maurian Williams had 19 points for Gardner-Webb and Lance Terry chipped in with 19 points. Julien Soumaoro had 5 assists for them, while Ludovic Dufeal was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Converse got 19 points from Sigurd Lorange in a losing cause and another 6 points from Jay Mitchell. Will Searl contributed 1 assists for them, while Earl Burgess III had 8 rebounds.
