The battle between Morgan State and Penn State-Allegheny didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Penn State-Allegheny was handed a 126-71 defeat on Thursday at Hill Field House.
Morgan State got 27 points from Keith McGee and another 22 points from Lagio Grantsaan. Sherwyn Devonish contributed 7 assists, while Lagio Grantsaan cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Penn State-Allegheny got a 12-point performance from Stalin Oaks, who was supported by 11 points from Bryce Phillips. Casey Oliver had 3 assists in a losing cause for Penn State-Allegheny, while Jeremiah Miller grabbed 8 rebounds.
Morgan State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Morgan State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 47-43.
