Purdue grabbed a 75-70 win over Michigan State on Saturday, behind a 22-point effort from Jaden Ivey at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Purdue won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -6.5-point spread.
Purdue got 15 points from Trevion Williams and another 11 points from Zach Edey. Jaden Ivey contributed 5 assists, while Zach Edey cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Michigan State got 17 points from A.J. Hoggard in a losing cause and another 16 points from Gabe Brown. A.J. Hoggard contributed 10 assists for them, while Marcus Bingham Jr. had 6 rebounds.
Purdue was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
