Recap - Houston Defeats North Carolina A&T 74-46

The battle between Houston and North Carolina A&T didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as North Carolina A&T was handed a 74-46 defeat on Tuesday at Fertitta Center.

Houston won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -32.5-point spread.

Houston got 17 points from Marcus Sasser and another 17 points from Ja'Vier Francis. Jamal Shead contributed 4 assists, while Ja'Vier Francis cleaned the glass with 15 rebounds.

North Carolina A&T got a 26-point performance from Kam Woods, who was supported by 11 points from Demetric Horton. Marcus Watson had 2 assists in a losing cause for North Carolina A&T, while Kam Woods grabbed 6 rebounds.

Houston was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Houston won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-22.

Houston heads into a battle against Virginia. North Carolina A&T, meanwhile, will have their next action against Texas Southern.
