Syracuse Defeats Northeastern 76-48 - Recap

Northeastern was run off the court by Syracuse on Saturday as they blasted them 76-48 at JMA Wireless Dome.

Syracuse was a -15.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

Syracuse got 21 points from Joseph Girard III and another 19 points from Jesse Edwards. Judah Mintz contributed 5 assists, while Benny Williams cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.

Northeastern got a 7-point performance from Jared Turner, who was supported by 6 points from Coleman Stucke. Joe Pridgen had 4 assists in a losing cause for Northeastern, while Collin Metcalf grabbed 6 rebounds.

Syracuse was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Syracuse won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-29.

Next game, Syracuse takes its act home to face Richmond looking for another win. For Northeastern, they head on the road to face Manhattan.
