Northeastern Falls 81-78 Against Delaware - Game Recap

Delaware grabbed a 81-78 win over Northeastern on Saturday, behind a 21-point effort from Jameer Nelson Jr. at Bob Carpenter Center Acierno Arena.

Delaware did not, however, defeat Northeastern against the spread, which closed at -6.0 at most sportsbooks.

Gianmarco Arletti had 18 points for Delaware and Christian Ray chipped in with 15 points. Jameer Nelson Jr. had 4 assists for them, while Christian Ray was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.

Northeastern got 34 points from Coleman Stucke in a losing cause and another 15 points from Jahmyl Telfort. Jahmyl Telfort contributed 5 assists for them, while Joe Pridgen had 9 rebounds.

Delaware was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Northeastern won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-31.

Delaware looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Monmouth. Northeastern will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Elon.
