Nevada Defeats Air Force 75-69 - Recap
Air Force was burned for 28 points by Jarod Lucas on Saturday as Nevada picked up a 75-69 win at Clune Arena.
Nevada was a -3.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Nevada got 16 points from Will Baker and another 14 points from Kenan Blackshear. Kenan Blackshear contributed 4 assists, while Will Baker cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Air Force got 22 points from Jake Heidbreder in a losing cause and another 16 points from Rytis Petraitis. Rytis Petraitis contributed 3 assists for them, while Beau Becker had 5 rebounds.
Nevada led at halftime, 36-26.
Nevada won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-25.
Next game, Nevada takes its act home to face Colorado State looking for another win. For Air Force, they head home to face Utah State.
