Kentucky Defeats Louisville 86-63 - Recap
The battle between Kentucky and Louisville didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Louisville was handed a 86-63 defeat on Saturday at Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center.
Kentucky did not, however, defeat Louisville against the spread, which closed at -23.5 at most sportsbooks.
Kentucky got 24 points from Oscar Tshiebwe and another 24 points from Jacob Toppin. Sahvir Wheeler contributed 9 assists, while Oscar Tshiebwe cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Louisville got 23 points from El Ellis in a losing cause and another 10 points from Brandon Huntley-Hatfield. El Ellis contributed 2 assists for them, while Brandon Huntley-Hatfield had 4 rebounds.
Kentucky was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
