Lamar Falls 83-59 to Louisiana-Monroe - Recap
The battle between Louisiana-Monroe and Lamar didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Lamar was handed a 83-59 defeat on Saturday at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
Louisiana-Monroe got 17 points from Tyreke Locure and another 16 points from Jamari Blackmon. Tyreke Locure contributed 7 assists, while Victor Bafutto cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Lamar got 14 points from Yuto Yamanouchi-Williams in a losing cause and another 12 points from Nate Calmese. Nate Calmese contributed 4 assists for them, while Yuto Yamanouchi-Williams had 12 rebounds.
Louisiana-Monroe was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
