Valparaiso Falls 88-66 to Bradley - Recap
The battle between Bradley and Valparaiso didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Valparaiso was handed a 88-66 defeat on Saturday at Carver Arena.
Bradley won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -16.0-point spread as favorites.
Malevy Leons had 19 points for Bradley and Rienk Mast chipped in with 17 points. Duke Deen had 5 assists for them, while Rienk Mast was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
Valparaiso got a 17-point performance from Ben Krikke, who was supported by 12 points from Kobe King. Darius DeAveiro had 4 assists in a losing cause for Valparaiso, while Ben Krikke grabbed 7 rebounds.
Bradley was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Bradley won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-24.
Bradley heads into a battle against Evansville. Valparaiso, meanwhile, will have their next action against Belmont.
