Belmont cruised to victory on Saturday, running UIC out of the gym and running up a 98-71 score at Curb Event Center.
Belmont won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -13.5-point spread as favorites.
Belmont got 25 points from Ben Sheppard and another 19 points from Cade Tyson. Keishawn Davidson contributed 8 assists, while Drew Friberg cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
