Syracuse got 25 points from Jesse Edwards in a losing cause and another 21 points from Joseph Girard III. Judah Mintz contributed 6 assists for them, while Jesse Edwards had 11 rebounds.
Miami was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Miami had a 39-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Miami looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Duke. Syracuse will aim to get back on the winning track at Georgia Tech.
