Recap - Memphis Defeats Cincinnati 75-68

Cincinnati was scorched by DeAndre Williams for 26 points as Memphis defeated them 75-68 in NCAA action on Sunday.

Memphis won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.0-point spread as underdogs.

Memphis got 21 points from Kendric Davis and another 10 points from Keonte Kennedy. Kendric Davis contributed 6 assists, while DeAndre Williams cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.

Cincinnati got 22 points from Viktor Lakhin in a losing cause and another 18 points from Landers Nolley II. David DeJulius contributed 6 assists for them, while Viktor Lakhin had 10 rebounds.

Memphis was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Memphis won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-29.

Next game, Memphis takes its act home to face SMU looking for another win. For Cincinnati, they head on the road to face Houston.
