UNC Asheville Falls 85-51 to Arkansas - Recap
The battle between Arkansas and UNC Asheville didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as UNC Asheville was handed a 85-51 defeat on Wednesday at Bud Walton Arena.
Arkansas got 16 points from Jalen Graham and another 12 points from Ricky Council IV. Davonte Davis contributed 3 assists, while Kamani Johnson cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
UNC Asheville got 14 points from Tajion Jones in a losing cause and another 10 points from Jamon Battle. Caleb Burgess contributed 2 assists for them, while Amadou Sylla had 8 rebounds.
Arkansas was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Arkansas had a 32-25 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Arkansas heads into a battle against LSU. UNC Asheville, meanwhile, will have their next action against Radford.
