Middle Tennessee was run off the court by UIC on Friday as they blasted them 70-40 at Baha Mar Convention Center.
UIC won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.5-point spread as underdogs.
UIC got 18 points from Steven Clay and another 13 points from Toby Okani. CJ Jones contributed 5 assists, while Toby Okani cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Middle Tennessee got 9 points from Justin Bufford in a losing cause and another 9 points from Elias King. Jared Coleman-Jones contributed 1 assists for them, while Elias King had 8 rebounds.
UIC was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UIC won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-24.
Next game, UIC takes its act home to face Illinois State looking for another win. For Middle Tennessee, they head home to face Wofford.
