Recap - Binghamton Defeats NJIT 75-66

Nehemiah Benson scored 16 points leading Binghamton to a 75-66 victory over NJIT at Events Center on Thursday.

Binghamton got 14 points from Tariq Balogun and another 12 points from Tymu Chenery. Symir Torrence contributed 9 assists, while Armon Harried cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.

NJIT got a 21-point performance from Tariq Francis, who was supported by 12 points from Mekhi Gray. Sebastian Robinson had 2 assists in a losing cause for NJIT, while Mekhi Gray grabbed 8 rebounds.

Binghamton was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Binghamton had a 38-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Binghamton takes its act on the road to face Vermont looking for another win. For NJIT, they head home to face Vermont.
