UMass-Lowell got 24 points and 2 assists from Quinton Mincey en route to a 104-95 victory over Albany on Saturday at Costello Athletic Center.
UMass-Lowell got 24 points from Quinton Mincey and another 23 points from Ayinde Hikim. Ayinde Hikim contributed 5 assists, while Quinton Mincey cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Albany got 42 points from Sebastian Thomas in a losing cause and another 23 points from Amar'e Marshall. Amar'e Marshall contributed 2 assists for them, while Aaron Reddish had 6 rebounds.
UMass-Lowell was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UMass-Lowell won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-25.
Next game, UMass-Lowell takes its act home to face Bryant looking for another win. For Albany, they head home to face New Hampshire.
